Атмосфера накаляется. КА и другие соседние штаты продолжают гореть.

Несколько дней назад в КА поймали профессора-поджигателя :

 

A former college professor was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of setting fires near the massive Dixie Fire in Northern California.

Gary Stephen Maynard, 47, is believed to have worked at a number of colleges in California,
including Santa Clara University and Sonoma State University …

Maynard was arrested Saturday following an investigation that began July 20 and included a U.S. Forest Service agent placing a tracking device under his car …

Over the course of the last several weeks, Maynard has set a series of fires in the vicinity of the Lassen National Forest and Shasta Trinity National Forest…

недавно обнаружили еще один случай поджога в конце августа :

9/11/21: The Bennett Fire that burned in Nevada County and caused evacuations in Grass Valley in late August was determined to be human caused, Cal Fire said Friday.
…”It has been determined that the Bennett Fire is human caused and started along the roadway in two separate locations of E. Bennett Road in Grass Valley,” Cal Fire said in a press release.
