Маск объявил что он начинает большую чистку в твиттере по удалению неиспользуемых accounts :

Early Friday morning, Musk tweeted that he would delete 1.5 billion dead accounts to free up usernames for current users.

… "Twitter will soon start freeing the name space of 1.5 billion accounts," the Twitter CEO wrote.

Да, в результате такой чистки освободится большое количество ресурсов и улучшится производительность. И наконец будет известно сколько на самом деле живых людей в твиттере.

А в блогах тут же отметили что правительству тоже пора бы уже почистить базу данных голосующих :
