Большая чистка

судя по тому что сегодня происходит с моими гуглевскими аккаунтами гугль начал активную фазу большой чистки.
эта чистка видимо была запланирована во время коронобесия когда из-за того что много народа стали  работать из дома гуглевские сервера были перегружены.
вот официальное инфо с гуглевского сайта:

When your Google Account has not been used within a 2-year period, your Google Account, that is then deemed inactive, and all of its content and data may be deleted. Before this happens, Google will give you an opportunity to take an action in your account by:

• Sending email notifications to your Google Account
• Sending notifications to your recovery email, if any exists

Google products reserve the right to delete your data when your account has not been used within that product for a 2-year period.

December 1, 2023 is the earliest a Google Account will be deleted due to this policy.

"Сервера перегружены" — это же обычно про траффик, нет? А тут базар за место на диске.

ну раз будут вычищать данные значит не хватает места на дисках в облаках.

ну так они про это уже года полтора предупреждают. так что все относительно честно

за полтора года могли бы и подготовиться. а то в одном из моих аккаунтов данные оказались подпорченными.

Я на рековери емейлы своих акаунтов получил как минимум по паре емейлов за это время с предупреждением.
У них там есть где то настройка, они после долгого бездействия шлют емейл
